We're pleased to announce that renowned knitwear designer Erika Knight will be appearing at our Waterloo shop on Saturday 4th October 2007 to officially launch her latest collection: Men's Knits: A New Direction. A capsule collection of 20 hand-knit projects for men, the book features a stunning collection of classic men's knits with the emphasis on wearable and stylish garments, with a contemporary edge. The event is free, come along and meet Erika, who'll be signing copies of the new book, displaying garments and discussing the designs, from 12.30pm. |

Erika Knight is a much-respected knitwear and crochet designer, as well as a sought-after fashion and craft consultant. For many years, Erika had her own menswear label creating knitwear garments with a universal appeal. Through her work as a key consultant to many design companies, she has sought to align the worlds of fashion and crafts. Erika has previously written nine highly-acclaimed knitting books including New Knits, Baby Bloom, Classic, Glamour, Classic at Home and Glamour at Home as well as two crochet books, Simple Crochet and Essential Crochet. |
